BASIC ACTIVITIES FOR VISION STIMULATION

 

We know that when a baby gets a visual diagnosis such as CVI (Cortical Visual Impediment also known as Cerebral Visual Impairment) most of the time, parents don’t know what to do or what to expect.  Unfortunately, the optometrist, or other professional cannot give an exact prognosis or how the vision will develop. Multiple Disability Services has more than 20 years of experience in CVI and other eye conditions. The videos that we are sharing here are a few examples of activities that may work with children to help them to develop their vision.

THESE ACTIVITIES ARE ONLY SAMPLES OF HOW TO STIMULATE THE VISUAL SYSTEM. IT DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THEY WILL WORK WITH EACH CHILD.  PLEASE CONSULT YOUR CHILD’S EYE DOCTOR AND OTHER SPECIALISTS WHO KNOW YOUR CHILD.
